The LAREX – Laboratory of Recycling, Waste Treatment and Extraction – is a scientific research center that belongs to the Department of Chemical Engineering of the Escola Politécnica (POLI-USP).
The mission of LAREX is to be a research center of international excellence in his field.
The focus of LAREX is to develop research and studies in the areas of recycling , solid waste treatment, wastewater treatment and metal extraction process .The research group is composed of over thirty research fellows among professors, technicians, undergraduate students, masters,Ph.Ds and post- Doctorate.
